Drifting along....with l'accessories!

November 2012 l'accessories....the PIMPIN hat from DRIFT is it....I think you are going to see it all over.  As I've been reading fashion magazines in real life lately all I see are these awesome ads with the hats sooo similar to these....I've been admiring them for months and here they are and now I have BUNCHES!

Discoveries

 

New discoveries around the grid.  I stopped by Dura the other day when I was doing Trip's makeover (see below) and found this hair, girl 16.  I'm loving the short hair for modeling, no fighting over hair inside my collar.

Today, my wandering took me to Stuff in Stock.  I read the bargain hunters bible (as I call it) Seraphim Blog.  It introduced me to Stuff in Stock and one of the items there was by WTG one of my absolute favorite jewelry and nail designers in all of sl.  The most amazing Psychedelic necklace and earrings.  Great colors of black, olive and mulberry all for $70L.  YES!  That isn't a typo.  I am not sure how long Stuff in Stock keeps the same inventory but if you read this, RUN over and grab the jewelry by WTG. 

Makeover

So....I have my photo working grid and lots of couples type poses that have no picture with them. I con ppl into helping me by hopping on poseballs so I can grab pictures of what each couples pose looks like, making it easy to chose the pose each time.  Simple, right?  Well, it was Trip's turn to help me out and poor guy....ended up getting a makeover out of his kindness!  I didn't realize how orange his skin was....but check below.  Yes, it is out of focus but i zoomed in so you could see the hands as this was a distance shot I was trying to grab.  Check the hands out....same color as my shirt.  I ended up not being able to use the pictures I took that day due to "orange skinitis".

I don't know about you but the after for me is shades of Ian Somerhalder. I love the look.  Best part?  It was all done for free with group gifts.  Think I'm going to put together a basic notecard with this info because we all know men's stuff is not plentiful yet.  And decent free stuff?  We all know that free and quality rarely go together.

Shape - was a shape he had that we edited, lengthened neck and arms, decreased that overgrown musculature that most guys sport and is so unappealing.  That look goes with the cromagnin man look.  The clothes he had then fit so much better and had style.

Simple huh?  I was impressed with the changed look, all for no lindens no less.  Happy day!

Bliss....

Hold your breath, I'm blogging about a store other than *VoguE*.  Today it's Bliss Couture.  The designer, Amutey DeCuir is the best friend of Zalyn Bailey, the designer of *VoguE*....so if I'm going to blog about ANYONE else, it's Bliss.

I got the note card that new fur releases were out and flipped through the photos.  The very first one caught my eye and I knew I had to have it.  TPing into the FUR room.....sigh.....also some of the best jeans I've seen in sl.  I can't tell you how hard it was to not buy the fatpack.....but tonite I'm going back for more.

The black jacket is part of the FUR! collection and in my opinion, a staple in any girls wardrobe.  Dress it up or down, put it with a cocktail dress or jeans.  It is extremely versatile.  The ruffles are wonderfully outrageous and can't be missed.  I feel like a queen with the royal collar in this.  Very elegant.  Light, swingy, flirty.  Perfect for the fall season.

The Jeans?  Wow.  The texture is incredible and those bell legs are IT.  Honestly, go look at them, the texture can't be described but it's what sold me that these are officially my new favorite jeans and I have to have them in my staple colors.  Not to mention the fit and comfiness.
