Endless ruffles

If you are following the releases from *VoguE*, you've put together some trends.  Winter is all about ruffles and satin and tweed.  Today?  More ruffles.

This little hotpants outfit is called Winta and I've got the Maroon on.  Strapless little solid color top, paired with high waisted hotpants.  To really emphasize those legs, check out that bit of ruffle at the bottom.  Flashy.  The sleek line of the shirt and high waisted tweed shorts really flows, just skimming and hugging the body. The texture on those shorts needs a closer look, stop by the store and see.  Love the tweed.  Adding the Jobeth ruffle top puts a bit of oomph and fluff on a very smooth, tailored, body skimming outfit.

I added sexy fishnets and heels, but you could have lots of fun with boots as well!

No necklace required with all those ruffles and I decided to keep the hair sleek, letting the top have it's day to shine. Again....VERSATILE!!  Pair this ruffle top with jeans, a sexy little dress, you name it...it works.  Only at *VoguE* mainstore.

Bliss....

Hold your breath, I'm blogging about a store other than *VoguE*.  Today it's Bliss Couture.  The designer, Amutey DeCuir is the best friend of Zalyn Bailey, the designer of *VoguE*....so if I'm going to blog about ANYONE else, it's Bliss.

I got the note card that new fur releases were out and flipped through the photos.  The very first one caught my eye and I knew I had to have it.  TPing into the FUR room.....sigh.....also some of the best jeans I've seen in sl.  I can't tell you how hard it was to not buy the fatpack.....but tonite I'm going back for more.

The black jacket is part of the FUR! collection and in my opinion, a staple in any girls wardrobe.  Dress it up or down, put it with a cocktail dress or jeans.  It is extremely versatile.  The ruffles are wonderfully outrageous and can't be missed.  I feel like a queen with the royal collar in this.  Very elegant.  Light, swingy, flirty.  Perfect for the fall season.

The Jeans?  Wow.  The texture is incredible and those bell legs are IT.  Honestly, go look at them, the texture can't be described but it's what sold me that these are officially my new favorite jeans and I have to have them in my staple colors.  Not to mention the fit and comfiness.

STEFFI by Zalyn Bailey of *VoguE*

Sneak peek at STEFFI in scarlet.  Check out how the color flows in the skirt, from the deep rich red to the light, flowing white.  The look is smooth and featherlike, making me feel like I have wings!  The ruffled top bears one of Zalyn's trademarks of the season....ruffles and tweed is what you are going to be seeing from *VoguE*.  STEFFI allows me to feel like a femme fatale......formal, yet not stuffy and prim, very edgy and daring, uber sexy.  Bare that stomach and legs, ladies and let's take the town tonite!

More lovely fashions from the new collection at *VoguE*.  I can't get enough of this collection, the mix and match ability is amazing.  I just seem to toss things together that weren't originally sold together, so it makes it like I have WAAAYYYY more clothes than I do.  Which is not a bad thing.

This sexy dress is called Joan and is a body hugging dress with an asymmetrical hem. The fishnets are a great pairing, emphasizing sexy legs under those ruffles.  I decided to add more ruffles on the top with the Jobeth Ruffle Top.  Asymmetrical again, one shoulder bared, the ultimate combo in sexy.  Whenever I go out I get compliments on the sexiness of this outfit.....a girl can't complain about that.

Looking for a pop of color, I had to add my favorite, RED.  Shoes, hair piece, nails, lips.  Kabam.  Love it personally.

The Eyes Have It..

Forgot to point out the make up that I'm wearing with the outfit for the show.  It's a new release by Zalyn Bailey of *VoguE* called Floral Makeup Set 001~a.

This one I loved, it's not my typical smokey look but has lighter colors, a wonderful apricot over the lid and up onto the brow bone and the swirls extending from the outer corners are in an off-white and golden color.  Fun, sexy, without being overly dramatic and halloween looking like some makeups.

At long last...

FINALLY!  The day arrived of the *VoguE* show at the Modavia Fashion Week.  I'd been given some of the items to be revealed prior to the show so that I could style and wear them that day.  It was killing me to have these awesome things and not be able to wear them out and about til after the reveal.

In a world between.....

Random ramble.....I've been wandering SL lately kind of without purpose, just being.  I'm so thankful for *VoguE* and my job there as manager.  Through the tough times, shattered heart, not knowing what to do with myself.....it has kept me sane.  Once, I was handed a bunch of outfits and told "go style them".  That kept my mind busy.  Lately, it is just plain busy.  Period.  I love it.  I don't often let myself have down time to think and contemplate the heartache but I did last night.

Where better than at home.  I have these cute flower seats outside my studo, which is surrounded by water.  I live in the most marvelous, gorgeous area.  Green. lush, landscaped beautifully.....the majority of the sim is owned by two people with an interest in creating a beautiful environment. I was fortunate enough to get one of the last plots and even more fortunate that I snapped it up before one of them did!

Last night I sat out by the little inlet of water that comes up to the house, watching my swans slowly swim among the reeds.  Peace is what I needed and found at home....not loneliness last night.  Contentment.  Although my heart hates being alone and the ache is very painful still, the tears too fresh to fall, I was content last night at least.  I don't often open up like this but felt very vulnerable and tired of keeping things hidden.  Yes, my heart is ripped to shreds.  Yes I hurt, badly.  Perhaps I shouldn't have given so much of myself but I'm one of those "in for a dime in for a dollar."  I just do, you get me and you get it all.  Dedication, devotion, I'll stand by always.  To have that tossed back at me killed me inside.  And sometimes I have to let a bit of it out and not do the "I'm ok" bit.  When I'm not.

They say time heals all wounds, I wonder how long this one will take.
